Why are you putting limitations on yourself trying to fit in when so many people look to you to be different . I can’t lie I was one of those people as well . But once I started noticing what I had to say is valuable I started speaking more . I peeked that me being myself made people gravitate towards me more . Did I like that no ! Why ? Because I’m comfortable being one of those people who assist in the background instead of being upfront . I was cool with just being the friend with great advice , the sister with the plan , the daughter who always stood out as being more mature . Just never wanted outsiders to know that . Being humble in a way with my gifts .
Out with the old, in with the new
Its always hard to say goodbye to yourself. The daily conditions we set for ourselves just to get by with ease, The comfortability in the people and the environments, the procrastination and how we watch time fly knowing we had something important to do. Lets declare that today thats the old you, and the new you is forming. We may not know how to change fully but we can start by acknowledging that something needs to. Allowing God to help you along the way.
